Floor People
|
|
|
|
Floor people are to consider the best interest of the game and fairness as the top priority in the decision making process. Unusual circumstances can, on occassion, dictate that the technical interpitation of the rules be ignored in the interest of fairness. The Floorperson’s decision is final.

|
Color Up
|
|
|
|
When chips of lower denomination are no longer needed in the game, odd chips will be removed and replaced with the next value chips. In the event that a player’s odd chips are not enough to buy the higher value chip, all remaining low value chips will be removed for a single higher value chip.
|
|
|
Odd Chips
|
|
|
|
In the event of two or more high hands, resulting in a split pot, any odd chips will go to the player left of the Dealer who was involved in that hand.
|
|
|
Side Pots
|
|
|
|
Each side pot will be split as a seperate side pot. They will not be mixed together before they are split.
|
|
|
Calling For Clock Procedure
|
|
|
|
Once a reasonable amount of time has passed and a clock is called for, a player will be given 30 Seconds to make a decision.. If action has not been taken by the time the half minute is over, there will be a 10-second countdown. If the player has not acted by the time the countdown is over, the hand is dead. A Player Constantly Placed On Clock Procedure May Recieve Penalties For Slowing The Game Up To & Including Disqualification.

Penalties
|
|
|
|
A penalty MAY be invoked if a player exposes any card with action pending, if a card(s) goes off the table, if soft play occours, or similar incedents take place. Penalties WILL be invoked in cases of abuse, disruptive behavior, or similar incidents.
|
|
|
At Table
|
|
|
|
A player must be at the table by the time all players have complete hands in order to have his hand live. Players must be at the table to call time.
|
|
|
|
Face Up
|
|
|
|
All cards will be turned face up once a player is all in and all action is complete
|
|
|
|
Minimum Raise
|
|
|
|
If a player puts in a raise of 50% or more of the previous bet, he will be required to make a full raise. The raise will be exactly the minimum raise allowed
|
|
|
|
Call (One Chip Rule)
|
|
|
|
In no-limit play, an oversized chip bet without statement of intent will be construed to be a call. If no previous action exists, this will be the minium bring-in.
|
|
|
|
One Player
|
|
|
|
One player to a hand rule will be enforced
|
|
|
|
Seating
|
|
|
|
Tournament and satellite seats will be randomly assigned
|
|
|
(The Exception is The Host May Sit To View Establishment)
|
|
|
English Only
|
|
|
|
The english only rule will be enforced during play of hands.
|
|
|
|
I-Pods & Cell Phones
|
|
|
|
A player that wants to use a cellular phone must step away from the table. I-Pods will not be allowed.
|
|
|
|
(Main Event Rule Only)
|
|
|
|
Foreign Chips
|
|
|
|
There will be no foreign chips at the table except for a maximum of one card cap.
|
|
|
Deck Changes
|
|
|
|
Players may not ask for a deck change.
|
|
|
|
New Limits
|
|
|
|
When time has elapsed in a round and a new round is announced, the new limits apply to the next hand. A hand has begun with the first riffle.
|
|
|
Highest Chips Visible
|
|
|
|
Players must keep their highest denomination chips visible at all times.
|
|
|
|
Declarations
|
|
|
|
Verbal declarations as to the content of a player’s hand are not binding, however at manageent’s discretion, any player deliberately miscalling his hand may be penalized.
|
|
|
Rabbit Hunting
|
|
|
|
No rabbit hunting is allowed
|
|
|
|
Chips Visible
|
|
|
|
All chips must be visibly displayed at all times. Players may not have tournament chips in their pockets at any time. A player who has chips in his pocket will forfeit the chips. The forfeited chips will be removed from the tournament.
|
|
|
|
Moving Players
|
|
|
|
Moving Players: In flop games, players will be moved from the big blind to the worst position.
|
|
|
|
Misdeals
|
|
|
|
If either of the blind’s down cards are dealt face up, a misdeal occours. If more than one card is dealt faceup to any player(s) it is a misdeal. A player may not choose to keep a card that has been dealt exposed. If a card leaves the table, a misdeal occours.
|
|
|
Unprotected Hands
|
|
|
|
If a dealer kills an unprotected hand, the player will have no redress and will not be entitled to his chips back. An exception would be if a player raised and his raise had not been called yet, he would be entitled to recieve his raise back.
|
|
|
Killing Winning Hands
|
|
|
|
Dealers cannot kill a winning hand that was turned face up and was obviously the winning hand.
|
|
|
Verbal Declarations
|
|
|
|
Verbal declarations in turn are binding. Action out of turn may be binding.
|
|
|
Management
|
|
|
|
Management reserves the right to cancel or alter any event at its sole discretionin the best interest of the venue or its players.
|
|
|
Broken Tables
|
|
|
|
Players going from a broken table to fill in seats assume the rights and responsibilities of the position. They can get the big blind but not the small blind or the button. A player moved to balance tables will take the worst position.
|
|
|
|
Penalties
|
|
|
|
Penalties available for use by the tournament director are verbal warnings, 10,20,30, and 40 minutes away from the table and may be used with discretion. These may be utilized up to and including disqualification. A player who is disqualified shall have his chips removed from play.
|
|
|
|
No Discussion
|
|
|
|
Players, whether in the hand or not, may not discuss the hands until the action is complete. Players are obligated to protect other players in the tournament at all times. Discussing cards discarded or hand possibilities is not allowed. A penalty may be given for discussion of hands during the play.
|
|
|
|
Exposed Cards
|
|
|
|
A player who exposes his cards during the play may incur a penalty, but will not have his hand killed.
|
|
|
|
One Motion
|
|
|
|
When raising, a player must either put the amount of the raise out in one motion or state the raise amount. By stating the word raise, a player protects his right to raise, but the raise must be made in one additional motion unless he states the amount of the raise.
|
|
|
|
Verbally Disclosing Contents
|
|
|
|
Verbally disclosing the contents of your hand or advising a player how to play a hand may result in a penalty.
|
|
|
|
Less Than A Full Raise
|
|
|
|
In no-limit, less than a full raise does not reopen the betting to a player who already has acted.
|
|
|
|
Fishing The Muck
|
|
|
|
Players fishing the muck during play or after all action is complete is forbidden. Any or all penalties may apply to a player who ignores this rule.
|
|
|
|
Passing Chips
|
|
|
|
Players passing chips will be removed from the game. A second offense could be grounds for barring a player indefinately
|
|
|
|
The Showdown
|
|
|
|
Once all action is complete and players have acted after the river, the Player who inacted the last action (ie. bet or raise) will show both cards. Any Player making claim to Any Portion of Any Pot Must Show Both Cards!
|
|
|
|
Dealing The Hand
|
|
|
|
Cards must be shuffled face down! Dealers will shuffle the deck at least 4 times. The Dealer is not allowed to cut the deck. The Player to the immediate right side of the dealer is offered the option to cut the deck. Should the Player to the right of the dealer opt not to cut, the cut card is placed under the deck and the hand is dealt. Should the Player right of the dealer opt not to cut the Dealer may not cut before dealing. Should Any Player in the hand ask that the deck be reshuffled, the dealer will shuffle the deck once more before dealing. A cut is once again offered to the Player right of the dealer.

Eliminated Players
|
|
|
|
A Player that has been eliminated from the game must move away from the game (any table still active) and not interfere with the actions of any Player still live in the game. It is prefered that a Player eliminated be at least 10’ away from any table still active. Eliminated Players may not sit at tables where live cards are in play.
|
|
|
|
Leaving A Game In Progress
|
|
|
|
Although we can sympathize with the plight of the downtrodden smoker we will no longer tollerate leaving the table to smoke. Great pains have been taken to accomodate the needs of the smokers. Breaks are given every 40 minutes. This is when you may leave the game to smoke. As Of This Date 01/22/08 Players Leaving A Game To Smoke Outside Of The Scheduled Break Time Will Result In A Players & Their Chips Being Removed From The Game. This Rule Falls Under The Heading Of “Disrupting The Game” And NO PLAYER Shall Have Any Recourse.

Players Rights
|
|
|
|
Missouri River Poker Tour Reserves The Right To Refuse Service To Any Player At The Discretion Of The Event Director. This Rule Is Non Negotiable.

|
|
Late Players
|
|
|
|
Late Players May Get Into The Game Until The First Break At A Penalty Of 10X’s The Current Big Blind Loss Of Chips Or Until The First Player Is Eleminated From The Game.
ie: Once The First Hand Is Dealt After The First Break Or A Player Has Busted Out Of The Game No New Players Will Be Added.

Players Leaving Their Table
|
|
|
|
Any Player That Leaves Their Seat While The Game Is In Progress For A Period Of Time That Exceeds The Button Moving Once Around The Table Or 20 Minutes (whichever transpires first) Will Have Their Chips Removed From The Table And From The Game And Will Go Out In That Order.
|
|
|
|
Live Hand
|
|
|
|
A Player Must Be At The Table By The Time All Players Have A Complete Hand. The Dealer Will Immediatly Kill Any Players Hand Who Is Not At The Table Once All Hole Cards Have Been Dealt, Even If That Player Is In The Blinds.
|
|
|
|

|
|
ETIQUETTE
|
|
|
|
The following actions are improper, and grounds for warning, suspending, or barring a violator:
|
|
|
|
· Deliberately acting out of turn.
|
|
|
|
· Deliberately splashing chips into the pot.
|
|
|
|
· Agreeing to check a hand out when a third player is all-in.
|
|
|
|
· Reading a hand for another player at the showdown before it has been placed face up on the table.
|
|
|
|
· Telling anyone to turn a hand face up at the showdown.
|
|
|
|
· Revealing the contents of a live hand in a multihanded pot before the betting is complete.
|
|
|
|
· Needlessly stalling the action of a game.
|
|
|
|
· Deliberately discarding hands away from the muck. Cards should be released in a low line of flight, at a moderate rate of speed (not at the dealer's hands or chip-rack).
|
|
|
|
· Stacking chips in a manner that interferes with dealing or viewing cards.
|
|
|
|
· Making statements or taking action that could unfairly influence the course of play, whether or not the offender is involved in the pot.
|
|
|
|
· Using a cell phone at the table.
|
|
|
|

Management will attempt to maintain a pleasant environment for all our customers and employees, but is not responsible for the conduct of any player. We have established a code of conduct, and may deny the use of our cardroom to anyone who violates it.
The following is not permitted:

- Collusion with another player or any other form of cheating.
|
|
|
- Verbally or physically threatening any patron or employee.
|
|
|
- Using profanity or obscene language.
|
|
|
- Creating a disturbance by arguing, shouting, or making excessive noise.
|
|
|
- Throwing, tearing, bending, or crumpling cards.
|
|
|
- Destroying or defacing property.
|
|
|
- Using an illegal substance.
|
|
